SIERRAS CORDOBESAS Y LANAS / Cordoba Hills and yarns

Este lugar tan hermoso se llama Nono, del vocablo Comechingon "Ñuñu" que significa senos de mujer, se ven las Sierras en la foto. Es un lugar precioso, con ríos, cascadas, playitas, en fin, la naturaleza nos regaló este lugar y debemos cuidarlo y apreciarlo.

De un pueblito serrano que se llama San Javier y queda cerca me traje estas lanas de oveja, hiladas y teñidas a mano con elementos naturales.

Por ejemplo la lana roja está teñida con un bichito (insecto) que se llama Cochinilla y que se cria especialmente para teñir prendas, los colores amarillo y verdes están teñidos con hojas de distintas plantas.

Próximamente estaré tejiendo alguna prenda UNICA con estas hermosas lanas.

This wonderful place is called NONO and it comes from the Comechingon word "Ñuñu" which means Women's breast. you can see the Hills in the back. The place is Unique with rivers, Waterfalls, sand; you can enjoy this beauty by taking care of it as well as thanking Nature for this gift.

From a hill town called San Javier I brought these Skeins, hand weaved and hand dyed with nature items, like the red one which has been dyed with a bug called Cochinilla, which is red and the Yellow and Green ones have been dyed with flowers and leaves.

As you can tell the following garments will be weaved with these beauties.
